Professor Ellen Veomett is a panelist at the Hosfelt Gallery

Professor Ellen Veomett, chair of the department of Mathematics and Computer Science, will be a panelist in a discussion on fair redistricting and gerrymandering.  This panel is hosted by the Hosfelt Gallery in San Francisco, in conjunction with an exhibit by the artist Lordy Rodriguez.  Lordy Rodriguez’s work uses the language of cartography, and involves drawings that go beyond map-making into abstracted, imaginary terrain.  Details, including zoom registration, can be found at this webpage.
