The Brother Dominic Barry Mathematics Scholarships

General Information

Saint Mary’s College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for the Brother Dominic Barry Mathematics scholarships. Each scholarship is awarded in the amount of $13,000 annually and is renewable for four years. The scholarships will be awarded to the two highest scorers on the Math Problem Solving Competition to take place on the afternoon of Saturday, February 25, 2017.

This competition will take place at the conclusion of the Preview Day events on February 25. Following the competition, there will be an opportunity to participate in fun math events and share dinner with current Saint Mary’s math majors.

Students interested in participating in the Scholarship competition must sign up before February 17, 2017. Students who take part in the scholarship competition will have their application fees waived.

Eligibility

The scholarship competition is open to any current high school senior who’s interested in majoring in mathematics and who completed an application for undergraduate admission to Saint Mary’s College by January 15, 2017.
