About: Prof. Faulkner was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He participated in a 3+2 engineering program at a liberal arts college before attending Caltech. Prof. Faulkner has worked for the NASA-Ames research center, performing wind-tunnel testing, and for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, researching ventilation in commercial and residential buildings. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles in this area. In addition to Saint Mary’s, Prof. Faulkner has also taught part-time at several community colleges in the Bay Area.
