The Saint Mary’s College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science awards the Brother Dominic Barry Mathematics Scholarships. Each scholarship is awarded in the amount of $13,000 annually, and is renewable for four years. The scholarships are awarded to the two highest scorers on the Math Problem Solving Competition held on campus generally in February.
This competition will take place at the conclusion of the Preview Day events. Following the competition, there will be an opportunity to participate in fun math events and share dinner with current Saint Mary’s math majors.
Students interested in participating in the Scholarship competition must sign up. Students who take part in the scholarship competition will have their application fees waived.
The scholarship competition is open to any current high school senior who’s interested in majoring in mathematics and who completed an application for undergraduate admission to Saint Mary’s College by January 15th.
