About: Prof. Beck grew up primarily in Texas, but has also lived in a few spots along the East Coast. She joined the Department in 2014 after finishing a postdoc at the University of Arizona. She’s very happy to now be settled in the Bay Area! When not doing mathematics, Prof. Beck likes to hike, bike, cook/eat delicious vegan food, or talk about her three cats.
