Research interests: Elementary number theory and cryptography

About: Prof. Sauerberg was born in Weyerhaueser, WI (population 210), and lived in the increasingly larger towns of Iola-Scandanavia (population 433), Turtle Lake (population 667) and Lodi (population 1812). His undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin in Madison (population 159,314). From there his cities began again to shrink, evidenced by the fact that his Ph.D. is from Brown in Providence, RI (population 156,452), and that he taught at Union College in Schenectady, NY (population 65,152) and for the past twenty years at SMC in Moraga (population 16,771).
