Brother Dominic Barry Math Scholarships



General Information:

Saint Mary's College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for the Brother Dominic Barry Mathematics scholarships. Each scholarship is awarded in the amount of $13,000 annually and is renewable for four years. The scholarships will be awarded to the two highest scorers on the Math Problem Solving Competition to take place on the afternoon of Saturday, January 26th.

This competition will take place at the conclusion of the Fall Preview Day events on November 10th. Following the competition, there will be an opportunity to participate in fun math events and share dinner with current Saint Mary's math majors.

Students interested in participating in the Scholarship competition must sign up before January 21st.

Students who take part in the scholarship competition will have their application fees waived.

Eligibility:

The scholarship competition is open to any high school senior with a completed application for undergraduate admission on file by January 21st, 2012 and an interest in majoring in mathematics.
